Being Social?
This is the only industry event for automotive dealers dedicated to mastering the entire “Road to the Sale” – from initial customer engagement through closing deals and beyond, with a strong foundation in social media strategies. Whether you’re a beginner or professional content creator, GM or salesperson, there’s something for everyone to learn at this show, and yes, that even includes our Service Teams. Expanded for this year’s event, we’re broadening our scope to cover the full sales process, including lead generation, customer relationship building, conversion tactics, and post-sale retention, all integrated with innovative social media and marketing approaches. This event is highly interactive and has limited spots to foster engagement among all participants. Plus we’ll be giving away a bunch of Content Creator gear throughout the show as only Wisconsin knows how: with a raffle.
Bonus for Being Social 2026; directly following the event we will be having a private dinner overlooking the capital for all who attend to chat with your peers or presenters and learn even more! Do not miss your chance to elevate your dealership’s performance across the entire sales journey, from first contact to lifelong loyalty.

A prolific automotive voice, Mark has written and published more than 300 articles under the pseudonym “Bark M.” for leading outlets including The Truth About Cars, Road & Track, and Jalopnik. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University, an avid racer, and a proud father of two.
Under his leadership, COOPABLE simplifies the complex world of co-op claims, turning a common dealership frustration into a powerful revenue driver.
In his straightforward 15-minute talk “Not Everything is COOPABLE” Mark Baruth, CEO of COOPABLE, warns dealers that many vendors overstate co-op eligibility for their products and services — often with dangerous consequences.
Baruth exposes misleading claims like “100% co-op covered” or “fully reimbursable” that frequently collapse during submission. When dealers rely on these pitches, they risk overspending their own money on non-reimbursable items and misallocating limited co-op funds toward campaigns that ultimately get rejected.
Using real claim examples, he shows how these mistakes lead to lost reimbursements, forfeited dollars, compliance headaches, and marketing budgets that don’t perform as expected.
